Have you received an SMS/WhatsApp from Sooqz asking you to confirm the details of delivery?

Please note that we have become aware of ongoing phishing attempts targeting sellers on Sooqz, and we urge you to be cautious and NOT open, download, or follow the instructions of the link.

Important! We DO NOT make any payments on your behalf from buyers.

The ONLY instance where you will be required to make an online payment as a seller on Sooqz is during the listing process itself. We will never ask you to download anything outside of the official Google Play, Huawei App Gallery, and Apple app stores. Also, we DO NOT offer delivery services fulfilled by Sooqz at the moment.

How can you protect yourself from Scammers?

While we are investigating this matter on priority, we request that you follow the necessary safety protocols.  

DO NOT share your banking details on the SMS link.

Block the sender and delete any files you have downloaded immediately.

Delete the message.

Pay attention to the inbuilt security warning on your smartphone and refrain from opening any suspicious links.

DO NOT make any payments using links from suspicious accounts.

What happens if you have already clicked on the link in the SMS/WhatsApp message?

DO NOT log in and DO NOT share any sensitive information. It is also important to keep these channel guidelines in mind to avoid such scams and fishing attempts.

Always remember these tips:

• Always meet the buyer and exchange money in person. We DO NOT collect any payment from buyers on your behalf.
• Do not share your personal information, such as bank accounts or card details, with strangers online.
