BYD SEALION 6 EV 2025 is a new mid-size SUV in BYD Ocean Network series. It is positioned as a comfortable home model. It provides two power systems: DM-i plug-in hybrid version and EV pure electric version to meet diverse travel needs. Its body size is 4810 mm long, 1920 mm wide, 1675 mm high, and the wheelbase is 2820 mm. The overall design adopts a brand-new marine aesthetic concept. The low-lying streamlined shape reduces the drag coefficient to 0.26cd. The split-type Haiyun double-track headlights and the surrounding through taillights not only enhance the recognition, but also create a young and dynamic visual style.

Interior
SEALION 06 adopts a vertical panel layout, incorporating suede materials and stitching decorations to create a warm home atmosphere. It is standardly equipped with an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument screen, a 15.6-inch rotating central control screen, a hand-held gear shift mechanism and a large-size HUD head-up display to enhance driving convenience. The rear space is excellent, with a legroom of more than two fists, sufficient headroom, soft seat padding and good support, and a large panoramic skylight to ensure riding comfort and lighting experience.

Power system
The DM-i version is equipped with the fifth-generation DM technology, with a 1.5L engine and a 160kW motor working together, a total power of 218PS, and a fuel consumption of only 2.93L/100km when the battery is depleted. The comprehensive range exceeds 1,300km, and it provides 93km or 130km (WLTC) pure electric range options, which are suitable for long-distance travel. The EV version is based on the e-platform 3.0Evo architecture. The full-domain 800-volt high-voltage technology reduces energy consumption to 15.2 degrees/100km, supports 240kW ultra-fast charging, and the motor power can be selected as 170kW or 180kW (two-wheel drive), or 110kW+180kW dual motors (four-wheel drive). It is equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries and provides three range versions of 520km, 550km, and 605km to meet urban commuting and short-distance travel.

BYD SEALION 6 EV 2025 models include two series: DM-i and EV. The DM-i version is centered on an efficient hybrid system, emphasizing fuel economy and endurance; the EV version offers multiple range options, and the intelligent configuration is equipped with the Eye of God intelligent driving system as standard, integrating 29 sensors, supporting L2+ functions such as high-speed navigation and automatic parking, and taking into account both practicality and a sense of technology.
